Getting started

Add a purchase, scan a receipt or attach an existing receipt photo and optionally record return or warranty dates. Home highlights recorded dates in the next 30 days; Purchases lets you search your saved records. In version 1.3 (6), the Info tab includes step-by-step help and an example that does not save records or schedule reminders.

Missing a reminder?

Check Purchase Memory’s notification permission in iOS Settings, along with Focus and notification settings. Confirm the saved date in the app. A scheduled reminder is not a guarantee of delivery. Physical-device notification delivery validation is still pending.

Adding receipt photos

Select an existing image in the purchase editor. Receipt scanning suggests details on your device. Review and correct them before saving; manual entry is always an option. The current app supports images up to 20 MB.

Keeping an archive

Settings includes export and restore options for Purchase Memory JSON archives. Store exported files securely: they contain readable details and images. Keep the original archive and check the resulting records before relying on a restore.

Restore is designed to add missing purchases without overwriting current records. An archive with a different version of an existing purchase is rejected in full. End-to-end archive and sharing checks remain part of pre-release testing.

Missing records or a storage warning?

Do not delete or reinstall the app as a troubleshooting step. Preserve existing archives and contact support. We cannot retrieve records stored only on your device.

Return dates and warranties

The app organises dates you enter; it does not verify coverage or decide your consumer rights. Confirm details with the retailer or manufacturer.

Release status

Version 1.3 (6) is in private testing. The App Store release is being prepared; the app is not publicly available yet. Open TestFlight to check for updates to your invited build.
