Last updated 19 October 2026. This policy covers the current local-first Purchase Memory iPhone app, provided by Business Innovations Australia.

Information on your device

Purchase details, notes, dates, receipt photos and product photos are stored locally on your device. The app does not require an account and does not transmit these records to our servers. It has no advertising, tracking or analytics SDKs.

Photos and reminders

You choose images using the system photo picker, or grant camera access to capture a receipt. Receipt text recognition runs on your device to suggest purchase details for your review. Optional local notifications require your permission. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings.

Sharing and exports

When you choose to share or export, the selected destination receives the information you send. Export archives contain readable purchase details and encoded images; the app does not encrypt these exports. Keep copies secure. Other apps and storage providers handle those copies under their own policies.

Backups and deletion

There is no app-managed cloud sync. Operating-system backups may include app data depending on your device settings. Delete purchases within the app to remove them from its current local records. Copies you previously shared, exported or backed up must be managed separately. Removing the app can remove its local records.

Support and this website

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, and use it to respond to your request. Avoid sending unredacted receipts or sensitive details. These website pages contain no analytics scripts, advertising or forms. The website hosting provider may process ordinary request data, such as IP addresses, for operation and security.
