Riviera Sound App privacy policy
Your training record stays on your device
Riviera Sound App is an offline iPhone training companion developed by Business Innovations Australia. Lesson progress, answers, rehearsal and Sunday checks, venue notes and any names or contact details you enter are stored locally. No account is required. The app does not send these records to BIA and does not provide cloud synchronisation. Apple device backups and transfers may include app data according to your settings.
No app tracking
The app contains no advertising, analytics SDKs, tracking, purchases, backend or live-console connection. It does not request camera, microphone, location or contacts access. Equipment photographs are bundled reference images, not photographs collected from your device.
Sharing and external links
Export my local record opens the iPhone share sheet. You choose the destination. The exported record may contain venue notes, names and contacts you entered: review it before sharing. Your chosen provider handles that copy under its own terms. Recipients may retain or forward it; the app cannot recall it. External manufacturer references open separately and their websites may receive request information under their own privacy policies.
Deletion and backups
Deleting the app, rather than offloading it, removes its local app container. Manage device backups separately through Apple settings. Starting a new Sunday clears actual-system checks, not all learning records or venue notes. Deletion does not remove previously shared copies or backups.
Website and support
This policy concerns the iPhone app. Website visits can disclose IP addresses and request information to website hosting providers; see the BIA website privacy policy. If you email support, BIA receives your email address and the information you include, uses it to respond, and retains correspondence as needed for the enquiry and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Avoid including private venue or personal details unless necessary.
