Small touches.
Lovely possibilities.
A quick guide to the helpful things tucked inside your everyday list.
Start with one small thing
Open Today, type a task in the quick-entry bar, then press Return or add it. Use Tomorrow when the task belongs to the next day. Tap a task’s circle to complete it; tap again to undo completion. Tap its title to open the details.
Say it, then make it yours
Use the microphone for voice entry. Speak a draft, stop recording, review or edit the text, then tap Add. Recording does not automatically create tasks. Voice uses supported on-device speech recognition. If your device or language is unavailable, typing still works. No cloud AI account is required.
Give a task a little more detail
Open a task to add notes, a checklist, a selected photo or a camera photo. Set Important when it needs to stand out, or attach a shopping list so your errands and items stay connected. Photos are reference attachments, not automatic image-to-task recognition.
Prepare tomorrow. Keep a fresh start.
Add plans in Tomorrow, or use Build tomorrow from today. At the next day change, your planned tasks become Today. Pin deliberately keeps unfinished tasks moving forward until completed; other unfinished items are offered for your review. You choose what comes with you. Yesterday stays a truthful record.
Keep the little lists together
Create separate shopping lists for groceries, hardware or anything else. Add items and tick them off as you go. Link a list to a task such as “Go to the shops” rather than copying everything into the task title.
Look back without the guilt
History holds previous days and their details. Search past task, note or shopping text and copy a historical task into Today or Tomorrow when you need it again. Archived days are read-only: carrying something forward doesn’t rewrite yesterday.
A gentle nudge, when you want one
A task’s day and its reminder time are different things. Set an optional reminder inside a task, then enable notifications when prompted. Settings contains check-in toggles and times. Actual delivery also depends on iPhone notification settings and Focus. Completing or deleting a task cancels its pending task reminder.
Make the coast your own
Open Settings to choose Morning, Day, Evening, Night or Automatic backgrounds and System, Light or Dark appearance. Daily’s celebrations stay calm: a subtle tick, a little haptic feedback and a quiet sense of done. There are no streak penalties or productivity scores.
Voice entry, camera access and reminders depend on your iPhone’s permissions. If something is not working as expected, contact support with your iPhone model, iOS version and app version.
